Boxing in Lafayette

Saturday night, we went to watch some of our local fighters at the Blackham Coliseum in Lafayette, Louisiana. The main event on the card featured welterweight "Bad" Chad Broussard who won a twelve round unanimous decision over Homer Gibbins. The other fight I had been looking forward to featured Kaysha Chamblin, a featherweight who is referred to as "The Fighting Marine". Unfortunately, her opponent had backed out and none was found to replace her. I'm hoping to shoot pictures of Kaysha soon.
